The MEN1 gene runs in my family, meaning I have potentially inherited the gene. Despite this, I have (so far) decided against being screened. My long term goal post-graduate is to go into research in MEN1. I have keen interests in genetics (obviously), microbiology and biochemistry (in particular the interactions between molecules, and how this links to things like cancer). I love talking, reading and researching all things biology, and enjoy simplifying the often complex topics to enable all to understand.
