Sydney is currently a Juvenile Defense Attorney, Author, Founder of Hope After Grief, and a candidate for Miss South Carolina. She wears quite a few hats, all with grace and with a mission to make the world a better place.Sydney is passionate about working with the youth and teaching them how to deal with grief. She's passionate about this because she has dealt with grief first hand after losing her Father at 10 years old. Sydney struggled with the situation in the years that followed and founded her Non-Profit to help youth in similar situations to be able to cope. One step further, she wrote a book, Grief Came To Visit Today, so that our youth would have another resource to deal with grief.Sydney strives to spread her grief resources to as many educators and students as possible and even created a scholarship fund specifically for students who have lost a parent, guardian, or sibling.
