#21 The Butterflies Won't Eat You

from The Ginni Show

The day I learnt that Butterflies didn't have the ability to eat me was one of the most liberating days of my life. I was 12 and I watched a Cethosia butterfly fly away. Celebrate the wins, people. No matter how big of small they are.I've heard many spiritual teachers say that in life, humans tend to look at things in two ways; out of love or out of fear. When we opt for the latter, we go down a spiral of anxiety and darkness and it's generally a projection of things that don't exist in the present. We spend all this time and energy worry about things that never really happen. That's just how powerful and crippling fear is. It's design to keep us safe and somewhat restricted. Fear does serve a purpose though. Fear teaches us that boundaries are needed to be put in place until we wish to explore what's beyond. I feared butterflies for most of my childhood, and this episode will tell you exactly why. This is one of those fears that when you are brave enough to face it, you can find that what's beyond that fear is something pretty special, innocent and freeing. Whatever your fears may be, if they cripple you and block you from beauty, I hope this episode brings you joy and learning that there is so much freedom beyond fear!Love @theginnishow xDo you approve The Ginni Show?
