210: Bite Sized PD- Accountability as an Elementary Music Teacher

from The Elementary Music Teacher Podcast: Music Education · host Jessica Peresta

In this bite sized PD, we'll talk about accountability and what that can look like for you as an elementary music teacher.   We'll talk about: what accountability is and why you need it action steps to take the way you can stay accountable all school year long   The resource this week is the Harmony membership site. This site was created in part to address the needs of music teachers needing that community you just can’t find anywhere else. A community isn’t just a Facebook group, but is a set of like minded people (in our case elementary music teachers) who come together to support each other.  The way Harmony offers accountability is through mentor/mentee relationships, accountability groups (which will be assigned in August), monthly member accountability calls to talk to and strategize with other teachers, lesson planning sessions each month, mindset Facebook lives with me, and so so so much more.   Find out more and join us at harmonymembership.teachable.com/p/harmonyhub
