217: RK 90s Summer: Airheads

This week, we kick off The Radkast 90s Summer with a bonafide cult classic! Chazz, Rex and Pip are the Lone Rangers, an LA Rock Band just looking to make it big. When their attempts to get their song played on the radio take an unexpected turn, these relatively harmless knuckleheads find themselves in a sticky situation. As the whole ordeal is accidentally played on air, the three end up becoming folk heroes to the degenerates and rebels listening, and seen as three guys trying to live their dream, and stick it to the man in the name of rock n roll! Its a film the studio mismanaged marketing for, got booted from theaters in a manner of weeks, then found new life on cable and home video...as it goes for so many cinema classics! A melting pot of everything 90s, it's Airheads this week on the Radkast!
