22: Beyond the Session, Managing Administrative Tasks

Dear Therapists, Whether it’s agency, group, or private practice- we all have experienced the stress of administrative tasks. Why didn’t grad school tell us that talking to clients is only about 50% of our work? The rest is documentation, phone calls, and case management- Oh My! Let’s be honest; we are not done with our clients when they leave our office. During today’s episode, we want to validate that you are not a bad therapist if you get your notes done a little late, can’t remember to get to that email and choose lunch over picking up the phone and talking to that other provider.   We hope this episode reminds you that you are not alone in your frustrations and it’s okay not to be okay with the expectations in our field.
