#224- Why I Created the Woman Who Solopreneur Awards

When I launched the Woman Who Achieves Awards, I noticed something interesting. Many of the women entering weren't running large businesses with teams and departments. They were solopreneurs. They were making the decisions alone, carrying the responsibility alone and building successful businesses on their own terms. Yet they were often being judged alongside much larger organisations with completely different resources, structures and challenges. At the same time, something special was happening. The solopreneurs were finding each other. They were connecting at events, supporting one another, collaborating and building genuine friendships. They had found their tribe.
