And the people healed...

'And people stayed home
and read books and listened
and rested and exercised
and made art and played
and learned new ways of being
and stopped
and listened deeper

someone meditated
someone prayed
someone danced
someone met their shadow

and people began to think differently
and people healed
and in the absence of people who lived in ignorant ways, dangerous, meaningless and heartless,
even the earth began to heal

and when the danger ended
and people found each other
grieved for the dead people
and they made new choices
and dreamed of new visions
and created new ways of life
and healed the earth completely
just as they were healed themselves'.

I'll also share the wisdom of the Cree people and the idea of Wetiko. The wetiko is a cannibal monster or spirit that possesses a person, rendering them monstrous.

Wetiko is a word that Native Americans use to designate an evil person who never worries about the well-being of others. According to Native Americans, Wetiko is an evil spirit that invades human minds. It's a "virus" of selfishness. A psychic pathogen forcing the victim to feed their insatiable needs as if they were starving. It makes humanity become its own worst enemy…

I'll also address the fact that we as people are past the turning point... ALL of our institutions need to be upgraded- politics, banking, healthcare, education, etc-they are too far gone to be fixed and what we can do.
