#23: Mastering Mental Models w/ Michael Simmons

from The Rural Sales Show Hosted by St John Craner

This week we welcome learning machine and world-class leader Michael Simmons. Michael is a best-selling author and has written for Time Magazine, Forbes and the Harvard Business Review. He’s best known for his coaching and training in teaching people how to learn. He is an unapologetic life-long learner and has taught me a ton personally in the last decade including his famous “5 hour rule” for deliberate learning. We discuss learning and how to learn, how to make time to learn, habits, energy management and using the framework of common mental models to help us make better decisions as humans. I was so excited to finally get Michael on the show as he is a learning genius and inspiration. Enjoy.
