24 - Action Park: The Most Dangerous Amusement Park / No Drink :(

No drink this week out of solidarity with the victims of Action Park... In all honesty, we have gotten profoundly lazy on the drink selection aspect of this show. We sincerely apologize and promise to be better about it. We were supposed to get slurpees and go to the beach, but it was cold and rainy. Today we're talking about Action Park, an amusement park in New Jersey that claimed the lives of a half-dozen people and caused thousands of injuries. With such a tragic backstory, you would expect that visitors would look back on their time at Action Park with sadness and regret. You'd be wrong. As it turns out, the people of New Jersey are so bored and reckless that they feel a nostalgia for the old Grave Pool. I don't think anyone misses the Cannonball Loop, though. Other than dentists.
