In today’s episode, discover how to dominate your brand, grow your social media and avoid the common mistakes businesses make when attempting to grow their digital marketing. With the experience of helping over 500 businesses, Stacey answers some killer marketing questions that will help you to build a brand, gain clarity and understand your value proposition. KEY TAKEAWAYS Charlie: Do you have any tips for building a good brand? Stacey: The first thing is deciding how you wish to be perceived, you have to offer some form of value in order to be indexed on google and understanding your value proposition and the story you want to tell to dictate the way you share your content. Charlie: What do you think is the difference in social media, when comparing different generations? Stacey: Every generation has different ways that they consume information, it’s more the millennial generation that favour Facebook and Instagram. However social media is consumed differently by different generations, there’s not one platform that’s used my one specific generation it’s a spread among multiple that simply follows trends. It’s important to have a presence across lots of platforms because you don’t know how trends or algorithms will change. Charlie: What are the most common mistakes businesses you work with make? Stacey: Usually lack of direction, businesses don't necessarily know why they want to grow their online presence. You need to understand why you want to grow and tighten up your niche to attract an audience. BEST MOMENTS “If you try to attract everybody to your business, you’ll end up attracting none. You need to become the natural choice for a specific niche.” “Marketing is not sales and sales is not marketing, but they feed each other” “Diversify your online presence and own a website” VALUABLE RESOURCES https://investincrowd.envestry.com/deals How to style your brand - Book ABOUT THE HOST Serial entrepreneurs Fredrik, Charlie and Ivan Sandvall love sharing ideas and interviewing world-class entrepreneurs and influences.
