Až 73 % veškerého vyrobeného oblečení končí na skládkách. Cesta jednoho bavlněného trička do našich šatníků je dlážděna tunami emisí, mnoha litry vody a hromadou chemie, a právě proto bude muset módní průmysl v následujících dekádách projít velkou transformací. Protože výroba i spotřeba oblečení bude narůstat spolu se světovou populací, je nutné, aby módní průmysl aktivně hledal cesty, jak vyrábět a prodávat oblečení, které bude možné využívat opakovaně. Změna klimatu bude mít ostatně velký dopad i na oblasti, ze kterých pochází většina textilní produkce – země, kde se pěstuje například bavlna nebo kde se oblečení šije.  Karolína Břinková z magazínu Slow femme v této epizodě mluví o rozdílu mezi slow a fast fashion a výzvách, které módní průmysl v nejbližších letech čekají.
