But, the off-farm income is so important to our livelihood. In today’s episode, Mary Pat shares her story of navigating this big decision and leaning into what her new roles on their operation look like. Mary Pat Sass is a farm wife and mom who grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin. She married a grain farmer from Illinois and now farms alongside her husband's parents, his two brothers, and their families.
