244: Your Zone of Genius Isn't a Job Title

I want to talk about your zone of genius, and why it was never a job title. Here's the trap I see so many accomplished people fall into. They decide their zone of genius lives inside a job. And the moment they do that, their entire happiness and fulfillment becomes a job too. Their sense of whether they're okay rises and falls with their work. That is a really fragile way to live. Because here's the truth. Your zone of genius isn't a role. It's a way you show up in the world. It's the thing you do so naturally you barely notice it. And once you see it that way, the question changes. It stops being "what role do I want," and it becomes "what's the work only I can do," and then, "where is that valuable?"
