ಒಂದು ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು 25 ವರ್ಷಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳೆದರೆ ಏನೇನಾಗಬಹುದು? ಅನ್ನೋದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಒಂದು ಕುತೂಹಲಕರವಾದ ಸ್ವ ವಿಮರ್ಶೆ ಅಷ್ಟೇ!ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ trust ಇದೆ.ನಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಜಿನ ಕಿಟಕಿ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳಿಗೆ ಮೆಟಲ್ ಕಟಕಟೆ ಹಾಕ ಬೇಕಾಗಿಲ್ಲ - ಮನೆಗೆ ಒಂದು ಸೆಕ್ಯುರಿಟಿ ಸಿಸ್ಟಂ ಇರುತ್ತೆ ಅನ್ನೋದು ಬಿಟ್ರೆ, ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವಂತೂ ಜೈಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬದುಕಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ಬದುಕೋದಿಲ್ಲ.ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಳಿ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛವಾಗಿದೆ, ನೀರು ಯಥೇಚ್ಚವಾಗಿ ಸಿಗುತ್ತೆ, cost of living ಕಡಿಮೇನೇ relatively speaking. ಆಮೇಲೆ, ಜನರಿಗೆ ಸಿಸ್ಟಮ್ ಮೇಲೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು! ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ, freedom ಅಂದ್ರೆ ಏನು, liberty ಅಂದ್ರೆ ಏನು, justice system ಅನ್ನೋದು ಹೇಗೆ ಕೆಲ್ಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೆ ಅಂತ ತಿಳೀತಾ ಹೋದಹಾಗೆ - ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ನಾವು ಅನುಭವಿಸದ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಿಂತ, ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ಬಿನ್ನವಾಗಿರೋ ಕಾರಣ - ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದೋರು ಈ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನ ಇಷ್ಟ ಪಡದೇ ಇರೋ ಚಾನ್ಸೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ, ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಅವಕಾಶವಾದಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಬಂದವರಿಗೆ ಯಾವತ್ತೂ ನಿರಾಶೆ ಆಗೋದಿಲ್ಲ - sky is the limit! ಅಂತಾರಲ್ಲ ಹಾಗೆ, ಅವರು ಎಷ್ಟು ಎತ್ತರಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಕಾದ್ರೂ ಬೆಳೀಬಹುದು.***A curious self-reflection on what can happen after living in a different country for 25 years!There's trust in the system here.We don’t need to install metal grills on glass windows and doors in our homes—there’s a home security system in place. Otherwise, it would feel like we were living in a prison.The air here is clean, water is abundantly available, and the cost of living is relatively low. Moreover, people have great trust in the system! Truly, as one gradually understands what freedom, liberty, and the justice system mean and how they work, it becomes evident that this system is vastly different from what we’ve experienced before. For this reason, anyone who comes here tends to admire this system—it’s hard not to like it. Especially for those who arrive here as opportunists, there's never disappointment—the sky is the limit, as they say, and they can grow as high as they wish.
