25-40. Gift of Another Year

Well, when this show airs, I’ll have just turned seventy-one, the big 71, entering my seventh decade. It’s just a number, really, one that’s shaped more by attitude than years. Still, considering my father died at forty-five and others I’ve known have left this world far too early, I see each birthday as a privilege.
