25. Desiree Edwards - Embracing A Life Of Creativity And Compassion After Losing Her Husband

Desiree and her husband Logan were celebrating with family Easter weekend 2019 after finding out they were pregnant with a baby girl. Logan unexpectedly took his own life early Easter morning.  Desiree, 15 months pregnant, had to focus on remaining healthy for the remainder of her pregnancy, despite the mounting stress and anxiety she was experiencing. In October 2019, she gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby girl. Desiree shares her story of loss, pregnancy, moving to a new home, childbirth, and strengthening her faith in God to get her through it all.  She is committed to a life of transparency and compassion, so that her 2 young boys will always be open to share whatever emotions they are feeling and whatever thoughts they are having.  In May 2020, Desiree and her sister opened 2 Blondes and a Babe, an online business combining her sister's interest in skincare and jewelry products and Desiree's personalized/custom items.
