25. Your Demons Don't Scare Me....Because My Demons Don't Scare Me.

I’m in my villain era but all that just means I’m politely setting healthy boundaries LOL shoutout to @faera_lane for that one People-pleasers are so far on this end of the spectrum: Abandoning themselves to take care of others Literally freezing because they are scared they’ll say or do the “wrong thing” Caring so much about what other people think of them that they never speak their truth and therefore live in a perpetual state of victimhood Bulldozing your own needs in order to attend to the perceived needs of other people . . We have to swing that pendulum to the opposite direction so we can then bring it back to the center (which equals integration). So PEOPLE PLEASERS, it could not be more important to: Embrace your villain-hood & wickedness Give yourself permission to be a "bad" & Integrate your inner monsters You might think “oh that’s dangerous” You know what’s more dangerous??? Keeping your darkness inside and never processing it. Never having a nonjudgmental space to process it all and reduce its charge/power over you on deep levels. Shame loves the shadows Shame will hide and THRIVE in the darkness ….And it will eat you up from the inside. Spoiler alert - your shadows and existential kinks are deeply innocent. When we talk about self love, we cannot extract the things society deems good (good emotions, goodness etc) and only love those things We have to learn to love and approve of ALL parts of ourselves That’s what true self love is It’s seeing the grossest, most disturbing, most manipulative, narcissistic, fucked up parts about you and being like “you deserve love too.
