250: Rescuing the Wisdom of the Past with Jason Hardrath

from Cultra Trail Running · host AFB and Celeste Fong ADD

This is arguably our best episode ever. AFB and Celeste Fong ADD jack-ass around for 30 minutes, before being joined by Jason Hardrath, who is fresh off of his most ambitious FKT effort, The Rocky Mountains Grand Slam. This challenge includes climbing all the major peaks of the American Rockies – the Colorado 14ers, Wyoming 13ers, and Montana 12ers – in one push with over 120 total peaks.  But we don't really dig too much into the data, and avoid most of the typical questions. Instead we discuss the impact that Jason is making on the world by serving as an example of what is possible as a human. As a teacher, Jason has brought his mountain peak experiences to his students, and to the Cultra audience by examining and sharing the secrets of his flow state.
