Did you know non-genetic factors account for up to 90% of risk at getting a chronic disease? Why do we constantly believe we are going to suffer the fate of our relatives? For one thats the first question a doctor asks us...Have any family members got....??? This is so ingrained in our minds that we don't think that diet and lifestyle can play a huge part in our wellbeing. This is my take on how hereditary and habitual factors can affect our wellbeing and the part it played in ditching the chronic dis-ease in my body and mind.
