SPECIAL SERIES: On The Ground Around The World We will be talking to my friends, family and colleagues around the world, and we'll get their take on what they're experiencing during the COVID-19 lockdown.  The goal is to share and open our eyes to what's going on in different parts of the world, but to of course maintain a sense of levity through it all. This week, we talk to my friend Maria Apreza.  We met in the Philippines in 2013 as we were both a part of a volunteer mission for disaster relief post Typhoon Haiyan in some of the hardest-hit areas of the country.  We talk about what it's like to be in Houston, Texas during the COVID-19 Pandemic, how impactful the shutdown has been to the economy, particularly around the rodeo where Maria worked for for several years, and how she's adapted to life in self-quarantine.   Take care and talk soon.
