288. Marta Carey – Ongoing Learning Creates a Huge ROI in Business

Connie's motivational quote for today is by – Michel Legrand, "The more I live, the more I learn. The more I learn, the more I realize, the less I know."   As soon as I saw this quote, I knew it was the right one for today's show. Recently I have had several conversations with family, friends, and colleagues about as each year passes, I am seeing how much I do not know or realize how much information is out there and how important it is to remain relevant.  The only way to stay relevant is to be continually learning.  It never ends!    This is stimulating and exciting, for me because I am a lifelong learner with an inquisitive nature.  I am always interested in understanding how things work and why people think the way they do.  Humans are fascinating creatures!    YouTube: https://youtu.be/5Q_Fdn6bZao   About Marta Carey:   Marta started her banking career in 1990 as a teller and worked her way up to Employment Officer, overseeing bank-wide training and hiring. In 1994 Marta began volunteering for her local Center for Financial Training chapter, teaching and serving on the board.  In 2004, she officially joined CFT as their Distance Learning Manager and was promoted to President & CEO in 2020.
