Angela is an orchestra teacher for Rockwall ISD in Texas.  She is in her 21st year in teaching this year. Angela has been with Rockwall ISD for 11 years. She previously worked for Dallas ISD as the head director at Woodrow Wilson High School and J.L. Long Middle School for 8 years. She began her teaching career with the Clark County School District in Las Vegas, Nevada in the year 2000. Angela has taught private violin and viola for 10 years, and performed with various church and community orchestras since 2011, including Rockwall Summer Musicals and the Mesquite Symphony. She performs on both violin and viola. Angela is originally from Oklahoma City.  She holds a Bachelor in Music Education from The University of Central Oklahoma, and a Bachelor in Mass Communication from Oklahoma City University where she received a full music scholarship for viola. Angela has a young piebald dachshund named Bailey, and enjoys movies, live local music performances and kayaking at the neighborhood Lake Ray Hubbard.
