It was awful; I feared I had accepted a Regional Sales Manager position where I needed to speak monthly at regional meetings to inspire people to build deeper client relationships and grow their sales. So, what did I do? I cried all the way home, fearing I would fail the following week when I needed to present again.  You can imagine it was one tough and very long week building up to that second presentation.    I nervously got back on the horse the following week for my second meeting.  I prepared like a crazy person, and I received a standing ovation at the end of the second event. Truthfully, I wanted to burst into tears at the end, thankful that I had completed the presentation without throwing up!    Here's the deal. Everyone is a public speaker. As soon as you open your mouth and start to speak, it is public. Speaking is a brilliant way to reach a bigger audience to build your brand, get known, and get clients. Reality check, most people avoid it due to fear.
