296. Weight Loss Plateaus and What You Should Do

Why am I not losing weight? That is a huge, huge question that I get multiple times a day from my own patients. If they're stuck on a plateau, and they're getting frustrated or my followers like you, they're listening and you're all frustrated because your body's not shedding that weight like it should. In this episode I will go over some of the reasons why. Obviously especially when we deep dive into the thyroid, we know this can inhibit weight loss entirely by itself. We know that high reverse T3 and low reverse T3, those two contribute in a large amount to weight gain or the inability to lose weight. The thyroid is the master gland. It controls and regulates your body temperature, your metabolism, your blood pressure, your blood sugar, your sex hormones. It's the master controller of whether or not you burn fat or not.
