2nd of 10 days of my Water Fasting: Why Eating Frequently is Often an Addiction
from Contemplations · host Angelo Karageorgos
A diary about my 10 days of water fasting together with some relevant thoughts about it. This time I talk about the misunderstandings in nowadays' societies that we aren't able to survive without frequent meals. We don't seem to consider at all what is the role of the storage of fats in our bodies. As well the addictive effects that several toxins induced in foods create together with certain carbohydrates. Same like a smoker, craving a substance doesn't necessarily mean that we cannot live without it. As well, obviously when we are used to a certain lifestyle for years and years it's difficult to see anything outside of it and even if we try it's natural to face difficulties in the beginning.
