3. A Degenerate Generation - Judges 2:6-3:6

The new generation of Israelites — which came after the brave and victorious generation that entered Canaan — had an intellectual knowledge of God in their head, but they did not know him in their hearts. They embraced their wayward loves and forsook their God only to find their lives falling apart. In Judges 2:6-3:6, we read that the people’s apostasy kindles the Lord’s anger, and yet he raises judges to save his people. But why does God do that? Why does He not let these unfaithful, idolatrous people perish? The answer is the gospel that transforms our lives. This sermon was preached by Rev.
