3. Pain Wants a Witness

Pain wants a witness. It wants to be seen given space and understood. In this episode I talk about physically and metaphorically screaming into the void, feeling alone/like no one cares, and social media as a trigger. I talk briefly about sexual assault--I do not go into details but talk about my experience speaking to authorities and how I felt unseen and unheard and the ramifications of this. This is a very vulnerable episode, even for me. I talk about what I talk about so others CAN feel seen/heard/understood...and so I can be, too. We are never truly alone.
