3 Stories by Walter Rhein

from Walter Rhein Podcast · host Walter Rhein

Hello Everyone!I really enjoyed this! Yesterday I was watching “A Complete Unknown” and I always feel inspired when I listen to good wordplay. That reminds me that I should probably start each morning by sitting down and reading some poems. I always write so much better after a catalyst of quality like that. The pilot light springs to life.POOF!And then I can get to work.As I was watching the movie, I thought of three of my stories I was most proud of (well, two stories and a kind of silly poem). I thought it would be fun to read them to you, so I did. This is basically what I do. Every night I read to my kids. 3 nights a week, I read them something I wrote. I’ve determined that’s the perfect amount. I’ve tried to do it 5 days a week, but I can’t keep up with all the other writing work I have to do. Plus, with 3 days a week they occasionally have to listen to some crap by a writer other than me, so it helps them appreciate the good stuff when they get it (big smiley face). It was fun to read these stories and see all the people joining. It was fun to see all the hearts. If this reminds you of the days when your dad read to you, I’m glad. If you never had a dad who read to you, then I’ll adopt you.I’m very proud of the stories I read and I think the first two complimented each other well. I’ll write more of these family stories. I like them. It will provide a record of the happy times of my life. I have more to read. Maybe I’ll do this once a week. Let me know if that’s what you want. Please consider subscribing if you haven’t already. Please consider upgrading to a paid sponsorship if you can.
