3.) What To Look For When Reading Food Labels, How To Grocery Shop Smarter

from Get Rooted In Health · host Gabby Flater

Uploaded from 3/28/22.When it comes to grocery shopping and trying to make better choices for your family it can be so hard to navigate. Unless you’ve spent time educating yourself most people just don’t have the time to fully know what’s really behind that pretty packaging. They entice you with the labels and “key words” hot trends, etc. but still fill your body with junk that isn’t necessary. In this episode we talk about 3 main things to start looking for on your food labels that could be wreaking havoc on your health. If you want to set you and your family up for success for the long run in terms of your health and wellness then this will be a simple and practical way to start.  We will talk about:-the importance of reading labels-How that became such a habit of mine -3 things to start avoiding as much as possible (added sugars, inflammatory oils, and natural flavors)-Understanding how the stores are set up and where to spend most of your time shopping - How to not live so confined by this and what flexibility can look like in terms of what to say yes to and what not to. I hope this episode challenges you but encourages you to create better shopping habits and teaches you how to better understand labels and the food system.  If you found this helpful it goes a long way if you would leave me your honest rating and review and share this with someone you know who would benefit from this information. It would mean the world so we can get this podcast to as many people as possible.  Blessings of health and happiness, Gabby Facebook - Gabriella FlaterRooted In Health Facebook Community Instagram - @gabby.getrootedinhealthShow Instagram - @getrootedinhealthpodcast
