30 - Episode Thursday!
We recorded this during the epic "winter" weather in Socal so we do the old lady thing and talk about the weather - mostly how CA people just don't "get it." We go down a brief rabbit hole of CT true crime and naturally transition to the 2000 boy band parody "2ge+her." For our entries, Danielle reminisces about that one relationship that made her realize she needed to set *some* kind of standards, while Steph's mom calls her off of work to go prom dress shopping. Also, that one time 20 years ago Steph attended a basketball game. Things we mention: David's Tea (sweet potato pie tea!) Immune Schein A Disappearance in New Canaan (documentary) Generation Why - The Petit Family Murders - 484 (podcast) Crime Junkie - INFAMOUS: The Vernon-Tolland Three (podcast) - not mentioned in our ep but another CT true crime story and came out the day after we recorded! Popstar: Never Stop Not Stopping (HBO) 2ge+her - U + Me = Us (Calculus) (music video) 2ge+her - The Movie (full movie) 2ge+her Wiki Page The Last of Us (HBO) Emo Night Karaoke (East Coast tour schedule!)
