Apex Leadership? What the ….. You may have heard of Apex Predators, but how is it that you can apply that too leadership? Apex predators are the top of the food chain, they maintain the ecosystem and they command the respect of their other inhabitants. Alongside that Leadership in my mind has always been a multifaceted but to keep it simple it’s the ability to influence and look after the person to the left and right of you alongside yourself. Often people think Leadership directly correlates with rank or authority yet we all know people who are in high positions that we wouldn’t follow. Think Covid, Melbourne and the State Government. To discuss Apex Leadership I have brought in my special guest Patty McDonald. Combining the essence of leadership alongside an Apex position of authority is something i hadn’t to this date explored the concept off.
