317. What made me happy and sad about "Washington Black" on Hulu

from The UPstander's Podcast with Dr. Omekongo · host Dr. Omekongo Dibinga

I absolutely LOVED the show #washingtonblack on  @hulu . It's the type of story I need right now. I love seeing #blackboyjoy. I loved the Black love stories in the show as well. I did not see many younger Black girls in the show but I felt they had a strong range of Black women in different roles, which I thought was great as well. I was sad about the show as well because it shows what could happen when our children are pushed to be the best they can be. I highly recommend it! #sterlingkbrown #hulu #ernestkingsley #eddiekaranja #tomellis #lucifer #slavery #smithsonian STAY CONNECTED: Instagram | http://www.instagram.com/omekongo Twitter | http://www.twitter.com/omekongo Facebook | http://www.facebook.com/omekongo Website | http://www.omekongo.com __ Dr. Omékongo Dibinga is the UPstander.
