#3192026/05/15(金)Why didn’t I go sooner? The other day, I went to a temple called Meguro Fudoson for the first time.It was such a beautiful place that I wondered why I had never gone before. The main hall is beautiful, but behind it there is also a very large statue of the Great Buddha, and I never expected to find such a big statue in Tokyo. If you like temples and shrines, you should definitely visit it.【About the picture】This temple is also famous for Mizukake Fudo Myoo(literally means The Immovable Wisdom King). In the past, people used to purify themselves with water before praying at temples. This practice is called mizugori. But we can’t do that there, so instead, people pour water on this statue of Fudo Myoo.★This post is also available on the broadcast channel (Japanese daily tips) of my Instagram. 【https://www.instagram.com/channel/AbbOi9lyhNtGwo6A/?igsh=enhqNGRyajhobnZ5】
