32. Boost Your Energy in 3 Minutes with Steve Carver of JumpSport
from Living Inspired - A Functional Approach to Women’s Health, Energy, and Resilience · host Rachel Carta, RN
The one thing that has kept me from moving forward in many areas of my life is a lack of energy. There were specific times in my life when energy was lower or higher. From a Functional Nutrition perspective there are a myriad of factors that effect your energy levels. Everything from stress to digestive health to mindset. I have a bunch of "tricks" that I use with my nutrition clients to help them increase their energy. I use them myself. I put tricks in quotation marks because I don't believe in tricks or hacks when it comes to health. It takes an in depth look at your life and habits to find where are the holes that need to be plugged. This week, I released a podcast episode featuring a conversation with Steve Carver from JumpSport. Rebounding or jumping on a mini trampoline is something that I incorporated into my life last year. After attending a virtual Tony Robbins event, I learned of this energy booster. (And increased energy is only ONE of the benefits of this form of exercise.) During this conversation, Steve and I discuss the importance of incorporating exercises you truly enjoy, the benefits of moving for lymph drainage, and the magic of adding fun activities like bouncing into your daily routine. Here are a few nuggets of wisdom from our chat: Explore how activities like jumping can release those feel-good hormones and uplift your spirits. Get practical tips on staying motivated and disciplined on your fitness journey. Embrace the power of consistency in your workouts for long-lasting results. Remember, it's all about progress, not perfection. By choosing activities that bring you joy and weaving movement into your day, you can supercharge your energy levels and enhance your overall wellness.
