32. Happy MLK Day! Who Was Feeding Dr. King?! A Brief Highlight of The Fearless Georgia Gilmore!

On this day we celebrate the life and legacy of the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., but I wanted to shed light on an amazing woman that helped feed and financially support the Civil Rights Movement as well. Georgia Gilmore was a cook, midwife, and activist that played a vital role in ensuring those that were a part of the cause were fed and given the necessary resources to ensure the movement would succeed in helping Black people, not only in Montgomery, Alabama but across the country.
