This vinyltainer started out DJ-ing on digitalsystems but was socialized with vinyl by his dad from early childhood on. Audio dramas such as„Timm Thaler“ or classics on vinyl like „Peter and the Wolf“ were part of his upbringing.His true love in music though is D I S C O, so he began to collect Disco on vinyl some 10 years aeerhe had lee home, far in his 20ies at this fme. As he began looking into the roots of Disco he reallyfound what he had long been looking for: Grooving Soul paired with warm and funky basslines ,some monsters of brass. Stretching from Northern Soul to Modern Soul as well as Nu Soul hehas nested in a genre family that keeps on turning wheels around the world. And when he met hismusical brother in law, Daniel, in Bambergs FREIRAUM both where shocked by the congruency ofboth their vinyl belongings as well as the longing for Soulmusic to be played on todays dancefloors.
