The K.I.S.S. ~ Take it moment by moment! If you are going to break free from the constant burden of unrealstic expectations, you are going to have to make those shifts. And most of the time, it's not the BIG shifts. It's the small pivots. So let's look at what you can do to stop wondering if you will reach your goals, and actually doing it. 1. Love Yourself Where You Are: It's essential to begin the journey toward your goals with self-compassion and acceptance. Instead of fixating on your current shortcomings or past mistakes, you must learn to love and appreciate yourself as you are. Kristianne Wargo, a leading expert in personal growth, wisely advises, "Give yourself the permission to love yourself where you are and then be encouraged to take one step each moment." Recognize that progress is the sum of many small steps taken individually but consistently over a period of time. And with gradual processes brings a sense of balance and control leaving behind overwhelm and perfectionism. 2. Focus on the Present Moment: Oftentimes, we become overwhelmed by the enormity of our goals, leading to feelings of discouragement or being stuck. The key to alleviating this pressure is to shift your perspective to the present moment, rather than dwelling on the end result. Kristianne reminds us, "Don't look at the whole day, let alone the whole result. See what's right in front of you and make the right choice" By breaking our goals into manageable daily or even hourly actions, we can sustain a sense of accomplishment and motivation, fueling our progress without the weight of undue pressure. 3. Embrace Patience and Small Victories: In our fast-paced society, we are conditioned to seek instant gratification. However, true personal growth and long-term success take time. Patience is a virtue that's often overlooked in pursuit of quick results. Remember, "You didn't get to where you are in a day, so it will take time," as wisely put by Kristianne Wargo. Celebrate every small victory along the way, no matter how seemingly insignificant. These milestones are the building blocks of progress and can provide the encouragement needed to keep pushing forward. "Progress provides positive prompting and persuasion." ~ Kristianne Wargo  You have got to figure out how to get to the other side. Rather than allowing yourself to be consumed by the pressure of immediate success, let's have a shift in your mindset to one of self-compassion, present-moment focus, and patience. By implementing these strategies, we can alleviate the burden of unattainable expectations and create a healthier, happier every day. Remember, progress is more valuable than perfection. "One step at a time leads to miles of greatness!" ~ Kristianne Wargo Rome wasn't built in a day. You didn't get to where you are in a day, so it will take time. Be patient with yourself. Love yourself in the process. Make the right choice in the moment. You can accomplish your healthy lifestyle, but it will take time. Give yourself the opportunity to train for life and love your journey. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #WellnessWednesday #CreateYourNow #HealthAndWellness 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women?
