As a song plugger, he has had songs recorded by artists such as Garth Brooks, Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, The Chicks, Brooks & Dunn, Bonnie Raitt, Reba, Willie Nelson, Alabama, and many more! Matt began working as a song plugger for Mel Tillis Enterprises in 1983, eventually becoming general manager.
