Welcome back to another episode of the Love How Deep podcast.  We hope as you continue to listen that your marriage is strengthened and that you continue to use God's Word as the foundation for your marriage.

Today we are discussing Conflict Resolution in a Marriage.  This is a very common area that couples tell us they struggle with.  Disagreements can certainly on a life of there when they are escalated or shut down.  The goal though in marriage is not to eliminate disagreements or conflict as they will happen, but more to reduce the frequency and severity of them.

We will be going through a lot of common questions and giving you our thoughts on how to handle the various aspects of conflict from our years of marriage and years of working with couples.

Brian and Heather Mayer discussed strategies for resolving conflicts in marriage in a healthy and constructive manner. They emphasize the importance of effective communication, active listening, and empathy. Brian stresses the need to drop one's attitude and communicate in a kind and loving manner, while Heather highlighted the importance of watching body language and giving full attention to each other. Both agreed that conflict can make a relationship stronger and teach couples more about each other and themselves.
