35. On a Mission: Scientist, inventor and activist, Dasia Taylor

In today’s episode we talk with our youngest guest to date, nineteen year old inventor, inspiration and Wild Woman, Dasia Taylor. At 15 Dasia created surgical stitches that change color, indicating whether a patient’s wound is infected. She is an advocate for racial equity and Dasia’s scientific experiment eventually created medical device technology that will be more easily affordable and accessible in low income communities and developing countries.
