Nothing will cause teacher burnout faster than a classroom full of kids whose visions of candy bars and Halloween costumes dance in their heads. It can be a recipe for crazy, out-of-control student behavior when the holidays hit your classroom, but that doesn't mean it has to descend into sugar-infested chaos.
