#3532026/07/02(木)When should children start learning a foreign language? What do you think about small children learning a foreign language?I think it is fine to get used to it from any age,but in terms of learning it properly, I think it may be better to start from around elementary school age (6yo~).This is because if the basics of one’s native language are not in place, there is a high possibility of becoming double limited.I wonder if that possibility is lower with similar languages, such as Romance languages. What do you think about foreign language education?【Today’s words】慣れる(なれる)/ to get used to小学生(しょうがくせい)/ elementary school student母国語(ぼこくご)/ native language基本(きほん)/ basicsダブルリミテッド/ double limited ※ A situation where a person who is exposed to two or more languages cannot use any of them at an age-appropriate level★This post is also available on the broadcast channel (Japanese daily tips) of my Instagram. 【https://www.instagram.com/channel/AbbOi9lyhNtGwo6A/?igsh=enhqNGRyajhobnZ5】
