3570 Secure Love

Finding a love that is unwavering and secure can seem like an elusive dream. But as believers, we have access to a love that surpasses all understanding – a love found in Jesus Christ, a secure love. The Bible is filled with verses that remind us of the secure love we have in our Savior. In Psalm 36:7, we are assured that, "How precious is your steadfast love, O God! In 1 John 4:16, we are reminded that, "So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him." This is an inseparable bond between God and His children, emphasizing the security that comes from resting in His love. As humans, we often try to find security in our own strengths and abilities. However, Proverbs 3:5-6 urges us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding. By acknowledging God's sovereignty and entrusting our lives to Him, we can experience a sense of peace and security that cannot be shaken by the uncertainties of this world. The K.I.S.S. ~ Secure love! In Matthew 11:28, Jesus extends an invitation to all who are weary and burdened, saying, "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." This promise of rest in Him is a reminder that we do not have to carry our burdens alone, but can find solace in the loving arms of our Savior.
