36. Don’t let your dreams fly away

from Courageous Me · host Kim Payne

If you don’t action your ideas, someone else will.    Inspiration's a sneaky thing that can hit you like a lightning bolt, often at inconvenient times, like while you're showering, out for a run, or at 2 am. And if you don't jump on board and run with it, someone else will.  When you feel the magic of an idea come to you, take it, run with it, turn it into something. Because if you saw that thing come to life somewhere else, by someone else, how would that make you feel? As Elizbeth Gilbert shares in her book, Big Magic, ideas come to us like butterflies. If you don't capture them when they land, they'll fly away and find someone else who will.    In this episode, I explore this concept and share that this is how my Courageous Me Action Retreat came about. If I didn't jump on board when the idea came, I'd be reading about someone else who did.    Takeaways from the episode: Inspiration comes through us and can strike at any time. If you don't act on an idea, someone else will bring it to life.  Regret can be a terrific motivator to take action.   Creative ideas come when you plant the seed and let your mind wander.  Synchronicity kicks in when you pursue an idea with all you've got.  Doubt and limits may appear; don't let them take the lead.   Books referenced: The Net and the Butterfly by Olivia Fox Cabane and Judah Pollack.   Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert      Let’s connect: Website: Kim Payne    LinkedIn: kimpayne9rok Instagram: kimpayne_9rok   Facebook: KimPayne9Rok To explore your courageous journey and the steps you can take, book a free clarity call here.
