#36 When Answered Prayers Look Different

Answered prayers may look entirely different from the options we handed to God. How often have we found relief, healing, or hope outside the feeble lines we have drawn? Despite the infinite possibilities and resources available to our all-powerful God, our narrow minds tend to see our situations in a more binary view. We try to make sense of the world by organizing, categorizing, and simplifying. We like definition. Yes or No. This or That. Good or Bad.…and that's rarely accurate, isn't it? Listen to this episode for a story from my own life, when God answered a long-awaited prayer of mine in the most unexpected way.
