37. Bounced around the medical system for years before endo was found & Ireland, how it is underserved for endo patients.

Elva is 36 years old and from Ireland, where at this time we are not sure there are any doctors that perform excision surgery. At 17 years old she had a large cyst detected after years of burning pain and heavy periods.  The cyst was removed but she was never told she has Endo. For years she continued to suffer on birth control and the copper IUD, she was ping-ponged from doctor to doctor in the UK and IRE, until she finally found someone who would listen.  She has surgery on Dec 2109 which confirmed Endo, but also put her on a new path fo find relief.  Listen to the rest of her journey on the show.
