#380 Seed Session What have I learned🤷🏾‍♀️

In this episode, I was asked a thought-provoking question: What have I learned? Reflecting on my grandson and the countless children who bravely face medical battles, I’m struck by their resilience. They often can’t voice their pain, yet somehow, they manage to smile and coo. My grandson, despite everything he endured, kept smiling until he could no longer muster the strength to do so. His spirit is a powerful reminder of the strength that can exist even in the darkest times.I've also come to realize something important: not everyone who has been in my life will be there in the future. When people choose to turn away during tough times, it’s a clear sign that they don’t belong in my journey anymore. This revelation has helped me understand who I truly value and what their absence means.It seems that those closest to me are often trapped in their own struggles, offering up excuses for not visiting or reaching out. At times, it feels incredibly selfish on their part. But then I wonder: maybe it’s me who’s being selfish, thinking they love me so deeply that they can't face being around me? It’s a complex dance of feelings—how do you love someone yet also find it hard to be present and supportive?I've been touched by the unexpected support from people I never thought would reach out, simply saying, “I’m praying for you” or “You’re on my mind.” In those moments, I can almost feel the hand of God guiding me.So I tell myself, “Keep going, Talesha! This is temporary!” It’s a mantra that reminds me that while humans may let me down, I can always count on God to be there for me, unwavering and supportive.I tend to keep my thoughts to myself, avoiding discussions that might sound like complaints. Yet, this process of reflection is freeing and reminds me of the strength found in vulnerability.🦋
