    #403 Seed Session Unworthy

I’m hopping on today feeling a bit under the weather, but I couldn’t hold back what’s been heavy on my heart. Lately, I’ve been sitting in my quiet time, reflecting on just how unworthy I am of God’s endless grace and how often I take His covering for granted. In this episode, we’re diving into: The Lesson of Jonah: Why do we wait until we’re in the belly of the beast to finally say, "Okay God, I trust you"? Running from His direction only brings unnecessary storms not just for us, but for the people around us. Finding Purpose in Solitude: Feeling lonely or going through a hard season? I’m sharing how I navigate those moments by leaning into the Word and letting God prepare me for what’s next. Reframing Life’s Storms: What looks like a complete disaster in your life might just be God stripping away distractions or answering someone else’s prayer. No matter what storm you’re facing today, remember that you still have breath in your lungs and purpose in your heart. Keep going and keep trusting His process. 💜🦋 #FaithBasedPodcast #TrustGodsProcess #OvercomingStorms #GodsGrace #FaithOverFear #LetGoAndLetGod #ExceedinglyAndAbundantly #PurposeInTheStorm #FaithInTheSolitude #HealingJourney #GraceAndGratitude

#402 Seed Session He May Not Come When You Want Him

In this episode, I spoke on the powerful story of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead (John 11). I break down who Martha, Mary, and Lazarus were, and the significance of their relationship with Jesus. When Martha and Mary sent word that their brother was sick, Jesus could have come immediately. Instead, He deliberately waited. By the time He arrived, Lazarus had been dead for four days beyond the common belief that after three days all hope was gone.Jesus allowed the situation to reach what seemed impossible so that everyone would know that Lazarus' resurrection was not the work of man, but the power of God. Through this miracle, Jesus revealed Himself as "the resurrection and the life," demonstrating that God's timing and purpose are greater than human understanding.Sometimes God doesn't move according to our timeline. He may allow a situation to seem beyond hope so that His glory and power can be clearly seen. See God in ALL things. Hang in there. One today at a time! #taleshasandidge #GodisintheFire #ChattingwithCountree #Lazarus #Jesus

#401 Seed Session Can you Hear Me 🦋💕

Whatever you do, don’t let life win. The enemy loves to trick you into a false sense of peace, telling you to just “go ahead and live your best life” while you drift away from what matters. Honestly, do you even care? It's time to start caring again. #taleshasandidge #chattingwithcountree #ButGod

#397 Seed Session Trying to Find My Emotions 🦋💕

This podcast is about me trying to find my feelings when half the time I don’t even know where they’re hiding. I went into John 5:39–47 that moment where Jesus is basically saying, “You believe everybody else, everything else… but I’m standing right here and you don’t care.” That hit me hard. Because I do that. I look everywhere else for clarity, comfort, direction… and ignore the truth right in front of me. #chattingwithcountree #emotions #believe #today

    #395 Seed Session Dementia

In this episode, I talk about the spiritual transformation of Dementia. I share why I believe those with dementia return to a child like innocence and get a golden ticket to heaven. I discuss why you shouldn’t process their words internally, when the disease speaks, it’s not them, but the disease.Matthew 18:3 (NIV): "And he said: 'Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.'" #taleshasandidge #dementia #family #chattingwithcountree

#394 Seed Session Don't Just Like the Do What It Says

We spend our lives reading, studying, and gaining knowledge but it’s not meant to just sit inside of us. Knowledge becomes powerful when we apply it to our circumstances.James reminds us to be more than hearers of the Word we are called to be doers. That means taking what God has spoken and using it to shape our decisions, our reactions, and our mindsets. There comes a time when we must put our problems down at God’s feet and refuse to pick them back up again. If we truly trust Him, then we walk like we trust Him. We pray like we trust Him. And we leave the outcome in His hands.Faith isn’t just something we studyit’s something we live. #taleshasandidge #Godis #christian #youcandoit #cancerwarrior

#393 Seed Session 14 Day Free Trial

I want to challenge you with something simple but life changing. I dare you to give God a try for 14 days.Think about it , we give trial runs to EVERYTHING.We try a new gym.We try a new diet.We try a new man or woman. We try products, routines, habits, trends you get it.We’re out here giving everything and everybody a chance to prove themselves… but then we hesitate when it comes to God. Why is that? So, here’s my challenge: Just try Him. Fourteen days.Talk to Him.Sit with Him.Tell Him what you need, what’s hurting, what you’re hoping for, what you’re tired of.Give Him space to show up.Because I promise you — God will blow your mind in a GOOD way.Not in a maybe way.Not in a for other people but not me way.I mean in a personal, you can’t deny this, that had to be God kind of way.Give Him the same chance you give everything else.Watch what He does.Watch how He moves.Watch how He starts shifting things around you and inside you. Then, when your 14 days are up, come back and tell me about it.I want to hear what changed, what surprised you, what opened up, and how your heart feels.Because I already know God is about to show out in your life.Believe that He who starts a GOOD work will see it to completion! He moves mountains.#GOD #Trial #14day #taleshasandidge #chattingwithcountree #youcandoit #Godisintheflames #talesha

#386 Seed Session Why a mindset matters 😉

Hey everyone! In this episode, I discussed why having the right mindset matters. We have control over what we take in on a day-to-day basis. Since we have that control, why not decide to introduce more positivity into our lives? It takes much more energy to be negative than to be positive. There’s an old saying that the ancients used to share: it takes more muscles to frown than to smile. Some of us walk around with such furrowed brows that when we finally do have a good laugh, the muscles we haven’t used in a while can start to hurt our faces. So today, remember to take care of yourself and incorporate more positivity into your life. Have a great day!

    #380 Seed Session What have I learned🤷🏾‍♀️

In this episode, I was asked a thought-provoking question: What have I learned? Reflecting on my grandson and the countless children who bravely face medical battles, I’m struck by their resilience. They often can’t voice their pain, yet somehow, they manage to smile and coo. My grandson, despite everything he endured, kept smiling until he could no longer muster the strength to do so. His spirit is a powerful reminder of the strength that can exist even in the darkest times.I've also come to realize something important: not everyone who has been in my life will be there in the future. When people choose to turn away during tough times, it’s a clear sign that they don’t belong in my journey anymore. This revelation has helped me understand who I truly value and what their absence means. It seems that those closest to me are often trapped in their own struggles, offering up excuses for not visiting or reaching out. At times, it feels incredibly selfish on their part. But then I wonder: maybe it’s me who’s being selfish, thinking they love me so deeply that they can't face being around me? It’s a complex dance of feelings—how do you love someone yet also find it hard to be present and supportive?I've been touched by the unexpected support from people I never thought would reach out, simply saying, “I’m praying for you” or “You’re on my mind.” In those moments, I can almost feel the hand of God guiding me.So I tell myself, “Keep going, Talesha! This is temporary!” It’s a mantra that reminds me that while humans may let me down, I can always count on God to be there for me, unwavering and supportive.I tend to keep my thoughts to myself, avoiding discussions that might sound like complaints. Yet, this process of reflection is freeing and reminds me of the strength found in vulnerability.🦋

#374 Seed Session Are you Going or Growing 🤷🏾‍♀️

The Bible emphasizes the importance of not just hearing the word of God, but also actively putting it into practice. * James 1:22-25 is a key passage that highlights this concept: * It compares hearing the word without doing it to looking at your reflection in a mirror and then forgetting what you looked like. * True faith, according to this passage, is demonstrated by actions that align with the teachings of God.Key takeaways: * Hearing alone is insufficient: Simply listening to sermons, reading the Bible, or attending church services is not enough for genuine spiritual growth. * Action is essential: Faith must be expressed through actions that reflect love, compassion, justice, and obedience to God's will. * Living out the word: This involves applying biblical principles to daily life, making choices that honor God, and serving others. In essence, the scripture encourages a life of active discipleship, where faith is not just a theoretical concept but a lived reality.

#366 The reading of the book of James

I read the end of chapter 3, then all of 4 and 5. This is basically telling us that what we say is important. Wise speech and the power of the tongue in the Christian life can add value or destroy you. Life and power lies in what you say, think and do. James also speaks about maturity in humility and trust, and how Christians should live in the world. He tells us that Christians who are fighting and quarreling because they are living by the world's wisdom, which says to do whatever it takes to get what you want. James says that this is adultery and that Christians should repent and move closer to God. He also says that Christians should submit to God as His servants, rather than pursuing their own passions. James discusses maturity in the context of where we place our trust. He warns the wealthy of judgment and says that they are guilty of murder if they cheat their workers or withhold pay. James believes that God believes it is more important to look after the needs of others than our luxuries.

#354 Seed Session My Guy Job Part 4

Zophar is up next and he boldly declared that God is transcendent and all-powerful, existing beyond the highest heaven and the depths of the grave. The question still remains and ask yourselves: how can we truly grasp and articulate this majestic, sovereign transcendence of God, especially in the face of seemingly endless agony? How can we confidently reassure suffering friends that our God is both exalted far above all earthly powers and, at the same time, relentlessly and intimately loving? What solace is there in that combination? Zophar with a big head, claimed to speak for God, offering hopeful outcomes if Job would only confess his sins. Job acknowledged that nothing in God's universe was beyond His control, but he had experienced the devastating side of that—pain and suffering. Job felt like God was responsible for his suffering because He allowed it. I mean he was being honest. It's a truth (fact) that we can see. I hope you are enjoying my walk with Job! Countree

#353 Seed Session My Guy Job Part 3

Job responds to Bildad by questioning how a human can be considered righteous by God. He acknowledges God's wisdom and irresistible might, emphasizing that God can move mountains, shake the earth's foundations, and even stop the sun from rising. Job affirms that God placed the constellations in the sky and emphasizes that no one can see God, stop Him, or question Him.

#352 Seed Session My Guy Job Part 2

Bildad, was the second friend that spoke to Job. He kicks off in chapter 8 and explains that all suffering is a form of punishment, describes how the wicked suffer, and assures Job that he will be rewarded if he turns to God. It can be interesting looking from the outside in. We can assume how and what a person is doing but we do not know for sure until we have walked a mile in their shoes. Love Countree

Sometimes we find ourselves asking 'why me', but we must understand that this feeling is okay. I'm inspired by Job because he faced reality head-on, embracing vulnerability in a way many are afraid to. His courage was rewarded.
