385: Friendship is not something you get, it has to be earned

In this episode, I share a few tips from an AA mens meeting. Friendship is not something you get, you have to earn. You have to regularly work towards improving them. Our common bond is similar to that of a group of people that are ship wrecked together. That trauma is the same With hanging out with old friends, I've noticed that the conversation revolves around the problem. Here these friends talk about the solution. Many times when I would get drunk with someone, I would feel like I'm bonding and creating a long lasting deep friendship but that was just not true. Often times I would try to recreate that moment but never could succeed
